Can I use an ice scraper in the winter?
A: No. Using a hard plastic ice scraper or snow brush directly on the film will scratch it and void the warranty. For Ottawa winters, we require the use of your vehicle’s defrost system and a liquid de-icing spray.
Is the film guaranteed not to get rock chips?
A: No. The film is a sacrificial layer. It is designed to take the damage so your actual windshield doesn’t. The film may show wear, minor pitting, or self-healing marks over time from absorbing impacts—that means it is doing its job.
Will it affect my automatic wipers or cameras?
A: No. The film is perfectly clear and does not interfere with ADAS cameras, sensors, or automatic wiper functionality.
Does the film have a warranty?
